Bring your imagination to life at 2-D STUDIO! In this session, young artists will explore multimedia, vibrant compositions on paper. If your child loves to draw, paint, print and experiment with color, this is their creative home base for the week.
Campers will enjoy the magic of varied two-dimensional techniques while building a portfolio of small masterpieces that explore line, shape, color, space, value, and texture.
WEEK 2: June 29-July 2, MONDAY-THURSDAY
PM | 1:00-4:00
Step into a world of color and texture in our FIBER ARTS WORKSHOP! This session is all about the "over-under" and "loop-and-pull" techniques that turn simple string into beautiful, functional objects. From the rhythmic motion of a knitting loom to the careful detail of a hand-stitch, campers will discover the calming joy of working with fibers.
Already a fiber enthusiast? Campers with existing skills are encouraged to bring along their favorite tools or projects from home. They’ll have the chance to stretch their skills with support and tackle more advanced techniques.
June 22 - 25, MONDAY-THURSDAY | 9:00-4:00
Campers registered for a full day of art camp should pack an extra snack and a peanut/nut-free lunch. We’ll have a low-key midday break from NOON-1:00, with time to eat lunch, listen to an audiobook all together, and have outdoor play time.
