Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Summer Art Camp! Some of the ways volunteers will assist may include: helping younger children with fine motor aspects of projects (such as: sculpting details, tying knots in string), helping with informal outdoor games and activities, and encouraging timely clean-up of materials. All of these roles will be under the guidance of Mrs. Artz, and Volunteer Counselors may also get to work on many of the art projects themselves!

VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS SHOULD…

  • Be 14 or older

  • Be available for the entire selected camp week (Monday-Thursday, 9:00-12:00 or 1:00-4:00)

  • Be responsible, flexible, and have a positive attitude

  • Be able to comply with a no phone use policy while volunteering

  • Have experience and enjoy working with younger children

  • Enjoy creating art!

TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION:

  • Click SUBMIT below & check out. This process will require a parent/guardian to complete the camp registration form. While there is no cost to apply, you will need to complete the checkout process to submit the application form.

  • A Parent/Guardian must also sign liability forms, which will be emailed prior to the start of camp.

CLAY CAMP DESCRIPTION:
Get ready to get your hands messy in the ultimate clay playground! CLAY CAMP is an all-access pass to the wonderful world of sculpting. From the fluffy fun of Model Magic to the weightier satisfaction of air-dry ceramics, young artists will explore a different type of clay every day.

This session is designed to focus on fine motor skills and spatial thinking while letting kids’ imaginations run wild. Whether we are pinching, coiling, rolling, or smoothing, every camper will have a smashing, smooshing good time!
